The holiday disease...

I think I've got the disease; the holiday disease. The symtoms are simple really: Laziness, lethargicness, the tendency to stone every now and then, coming up with reasons for procrastinating..hehe. Well I think you get it. Holidays has done this to me yet again and thats my excuse for not updating..hehe.

Holidays have been great so far. Lately, I attended a Smirnoff MU Limited Edition bottle launch at Quattro. I was excited and so were the others. Everyone had the same thought in mind:
Launch = free flow of vodka!

Sadly, we were all wrong..hehe. The invites only allowed us to have three drinks each. I guess it was better than nothing. Feeling still unsatisfied after the party ended, we headed to Santuary instead to satisfy Mandy and Alan's need to dance..hehe. Here are the pictures:

Sorry Sway..:p

The only drink we didnt get...:(

All the lights and buzz...again

Part 2: The Reception
Sorry, I couldnt upload all the pictures in one post, so here's another one!

The reception was a breeze as I didnt have to do anything at all except eat, sit back and relax. Well not exactly relax as I still had a few more assignments bugging me. The food was glorious, the drinks were flowing and the music was blasted to the maximum. As expected, most guests started getting a little high as it reached the end of the night, including the groom. Me not included, as I didnt get much to drink..:(.

The night ended with a karoake session by the groom's side. I guess its a tradition for them to force everyone to sing a tamil number or two. I have to admit, I felt utterly lost through each 10 minute song and I dont think I was the only one!!..hehe

Best picture I've taken so far!!LOL

All the lights and buzz...

Part 1: The Wedding affair

As some of you know, my cousin tied the knot a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the timing was all wrong for me as I had tons of assignments and incomplete work on my mind. The wedding was the last thing on my mind. Trying to hide the bags under my eyes with as much concealer I could find didnt help either. Everyone knew I hadnt slept in days..hehe.

The wedding was tiring. I think they fully utilised my presence there cause all I remember is walking up and down, carrying trays and more trays and then coming home all zombified. Luckily, they fed me well or I'd be totally cranky..hehe. On the bright side, I had full control of the camera that meant only one thing, more candid shots of everyone else and none of me!!!:). Anyways, here are some pictures, mostly of my random shots.

FUCKing skrewed up!!!!!!!!

Angry post titles only mean one thing, I'm fucking pissed off or terribly stressed up. Well, in this case Im both! I cant think straight, my mind keeps wondering off and every sentence I conjure up ends with a curse or two. I cant really blame myself considering the weight on my shoulders lately. 3 assignments all due in a week (more like 4 days to go by now), who wouldnt be fucking stressed up!!!!!!*SCREAMS & covers head in hands*

Now, don't start blaming me for starting late or procrastinating because I never indulged in either one, or atleast I tried my very best not to (I'm only human). I have to say, if not for all the setbacks in my way, I would be on my way to another long awaited sem break. Now, it looks like I'm no where close. Everything already done has the label 'redo' written on it. I'm already imagining sleepless nights, cranky moods, skipped meals. God , help me!!!
3 assignments + 4 days = DISASTER

Just for a day..

Listening to: Jason Mraz - Please don't tell her

Just for a day,
Can I be truly selfish,
And have you all to myself,
Have you hold me,
And with every tear drop,
lie to me and tell me it'll all be ok?

Just for a day,
Could time stand still,
Could moments stop,
And let these eyes finally rest,
Finally escape the world.

Just for a day,
Can I be rebellious,
Loud, angry even furious,
Can I throw punches,
Shout in every vulgar language known,
Fight until there's nothing left but bloodshed,
And in the end of the day have no regrets?

Just for a day,
Can I let go of my insecurities,
And in the spur of the moment,
Go all out and not be afraid?
Can I go crazy,
Scream out loud,
And cry for no reason at all?

Just for a day,
Can  I be bold enough,
Be apathetic to everything around me,
Be strong enough,
To shield myself from all the hurts,
And not have to pretend,
Wear this mask.

Just for a day,
Can I step into another's world,
Pretend I'm somebody I'm not,
Be you...

What an experience....

Who could imagine the pain one could go through by just smiling?? Well I guess now I know, after almost an hour of smiling for a small photoshoot. Well, its not that i mind at all (although I hate taking photos and smiling) considering what I got in return..hehe.

I must admit, it was pretty intimidating knowing that I was chosen for an interview for a magazine. Knowing myself, I knew well enough of my capabilities to skrew up. It didnt help either that I lost my voice on that very day. Luckily, I wasnt the only one there, Jacqkie, Daren and Geoffrey were there too.

The good thing was that everyone was quite relaxed and that made the situation better amidst the grueling interview session. I'm not a quick thinker so I must say my mind was in hyper-mode..hehe. Being that one of the sponsors was Smirnoff, so we had a free flo of cranberry vodka which was awesome!!!(* mandy: you should have come!lol)

All in all, it was quite an experience, fooling around in Laundry, posing with the guys and not to mention Geoffrey getting high?..not quite sure about that though..hehe. Neway, I forgot to mention what I got in return: MU tickets, MU merchandise, Smirnoff launch invites and maybe a chance to watch MU train!!!! Im still in disbelief..OMG!!!:)

My attempts at tracing

RESULT: BAD (but acceptable from a distance):)

Doesnt look too bad from afar.

Until you see it up close..hehe

And no, it isnt bacteria, amoeba or whatever you guys like to call it. Its called paisley. And im obsessed with it. So now you know what i do in college....hehe.
