Who could imagine the pain one could go through by just smiling?? Well I guess now I know, after almost an hour of smiling for a small photoshoot. Well, its not that i mind at all (although I hate taking photos and smiling) considering what I got in return..hehe.
I must admit, it was pretty intimidating knowing that I was chosen for an interview for a magazine. Knowing myself, I knew well enough of my capabilities to skrew up. It didnt help either that I lost my voice on that very day. Luckily, I wasnt the only one there, Jacqkie, Daren and Geoffrey were there too.
The good thing was that everyone was quite relaxed and that made the situation better amidst the grueling interview session. I'm not a quick thinker so I must say my mind was in hyper-mode..hehe. Being that one of the sponsors was Smirnoff, so we had a free flo of cranberry vodka which was awesome!!!(* mandy: you should have come!lol)
All in all, it was quite an experience, fooling around in Laundry, posing with the guys and not to mention Geoffrey getting high?..not quite sure about that though..hehe. Neway, I forgot to mention what I got in return: MU tickets, MU merchandise, Smirnoff launch invites and maybe a chance to watch MU train!!!! Im still in disbelief..OMG!!!:)

The fool is me...

I'm sorry i didnt realise,
Too oblivious, ignorant, foolish to see the truth,
Any such thought I turned it down,
For I thought our friendship was strong;
Lasting...
I was too blind to notice the many instances,
The many "coincidences",
I made up excuses, reasons,
Telling myself lies,
Knowing deep down I was wrong.
You didnt want this friendship,
Instead you pretended,
Pretended to care,
I'm sorry for this burden you had to carry around,
I'm sorry for being so naive,
Not seeing the truth until it hit me right in the face.
You don't have to pretend anymore,
Have your "friendship" anyway you want,
Find me when you are in need,
Seek me when you are troubled,
See me when only neccesary,
For I am nothing but a tool,
Fully utilise me by all means.

I'll always be a friend,
For friendship could never differ,
Its TRUE nature; unconditional and unceasing,
Never could I stoop down to your level,
Never could I be anything less.
And you,
You dont have to pretend anymore,
You don't have to fake it anymore,
If this is what you think "friendship" is,
Then you can have it back,
Theres' so much I can take,
But just not this.
I longed for friendship,
But ironically I don't anymore,
You can keep it.
Sadly, I'm the fool in this one...

The thing about kids...
Their neverending energy,
never fails to amaze me,
Just the sight of it tires me down.
Their infectious laughter and joy,
Makes me reminise about my childhood years.
The little, meaningless jokes they crack,
The way they try their hardest to fit in,
The silly lines they conjure up,
seemingly to sound cool among their peers.
Their small faces,
Their ever deceiving cuteness,
Only to revealve mischeiviouos "devils" in disguise.
Their constant need to talk,
Their constant demand for fun,
Their occassional eagerness for knowledge,
Their perfect vocabulary in vulgar words,
never fails to amaze me,
Just the sight of it tires me down.

Makes me reminise about my childhood years.

Only to revealve mischeiviouos "devils" in disguise.
Their constant need to talk,
Their constant demand for fun,
Their occassional eagerness for knowledge,
Their perfect vocabulary in vulgar words,
Their defiance for authority,
Their stubborness.
Every now and then,
Some do surprise me,
Saying little compliments, little 'thank you's,
Coming up with clever lines just to make me laugh.
Staring in a distance,
Watching them go on with their work,
I am ever amazed,
How do I survive?
Each week, each class, each hour,
Is it the conscience in me that keeps me:
Ever grounded,
Ever understanding,
Ever patient?,
Or the love for children that grows deeper in my veins???
Their stubborness.

At this moment in time
I hate...
Staying at home
Tolerating this nonsense
I hate...
their idiotic and childish ways
and thinks they should just grow up
I hate...
having all this thoughts in my mind
but no solutions in sight
I hate...
having to go home
acting as if my problems will go away magically
I hate...
strangers who think they can take advantage of my state
and give me lame excuses to get my number
"I lost my hp, so I lost your number"
eerr...I dont remember giving it to you in the first place......
I hate...
being in crowds
because somehow it makes the silence in me, louder
I hate...
constantly being judged
the impression you have of me planted in your inner consciousness
I hate...
how you treat me
how you take me for granted
how you see me
how Im visible to you only when you need me...
I hate...
being a stranger in your mind
imagining you
having to think of you
I hate...
being around..

The Lookout
Awesome view, great food, cool air and not to mention good company. These are just a few words to sum up my experience at the Lookout Point in Ampang. Though the journey there took us almost an hour, we girls some how made the drive up there trully enjoyable. (Mandy camwhoring the whole way up, me coming up with lame jokes, shaine constantly on the phone!!!!).
I seriously didnt know what to expect. On reaching there, we were shocked to see the huge crowd. I was like, "Damn, this people know the place too..so much for romantic getaway..,"..hehe. The view totally took our minds off the huge crowd. I have to admit, I have never seen a better view of the KL city. As expected, Mandy started clicking away, picture after picture.( with three cameras!!!)
I thought the food was going to take ages considering the crowd but it came quite fast and best of all it was good. I think we ordered quite alot too..hehe..but so what, we were three hungry chicks. After the filling meal, the guys decided to humour us with really, really impossible riddles..(well, I call them impossible cause it just does not make sense!!!WTF).
All in all, we had so much fun, took too many pictures..hehe and had a hell of a good time. Couldnt have enjoyed myself as much without you girls...we need more girl time!!!:)

Monash Music Festival
Finally, all the assignments to date are done (pheww...) and holidays have arrived!!!..Most would get a sense of relief but somehow I still feel uneasy, like I forgot something huge...(I hate feelings like that). I guess I just got to tell my mind to stop thinking and instead start relaxing..hehe.
So finally I had an opportunity to visit Monash. And yes, I have to admit..its way better than Taylors, Its so huge (lucky Monash ppl). Shaneil was performing at the Monash Music Festival, so we went there to support him and a few other bands..hehe.. I guess it gave us a nice break from the assignment stress , with all the screaming, the loud music and the good company(not to mention the water thrown at us!). Anyways do check this people out:
